What is PRINCE2®?

PRINCE2 Agile® Foundation e-learning

Who Is This Course For?

The course is designed for professionals who already work with projects. You may be a project manager, project director, sub-project manager, member of a steering committee, or part of a project office. The course is also relevant if you:

Course Entry Requirements

There are no formal requirements for joining the PRINCE2 Agile® Foundation course or taking the certification. You can participate even if you are new to the method, but having some experience working on projects will make the course even more valuable.

The course also gives you access to continue on to the PRINCE2 Agile® Practitioner programme.

The PRINCE2 Agile® Foundation online course helps you adapt agile practices to your organisation’s unique context and highlights why tailoring projects to fit organisational needs is essential.

With PRINCE2 Agile® Foundation delivered as adaptive e-learning, you get the most out of your training. Adaptive learning reduces your study time by more than 50%, as you only train in areas where you are not already proficient.

About the e-learning course

Estimated time commitment: Around 25-30 hours, depending on project management experience, plus time for reading the 350-page manual.

Guidance from an experienced instructor

PRINCE2 Agile® Foundation combines online learning with personalised instructor support. Throughout the programme, you can book 1:1 online sessions with an instructor, making this course unique among online project management programmes.

Exam and certification

The course includes two practice exams and the official PRINCE2 Agile® Foundation certification exam.
The exam is an English multiple-choice test of 60 questions based on a case scenario. You need 36 correct answers to pass. You may use the PRINCE2 Agile® manual during the exam.

You can add a Take2 exam insurance option. Read more about this further down the page.

Take2 Exam Insurance

Take2 is an optional insurance policy that can be purchased when registering for one or more PRINCE2® courses. For DKK 450 (excl. VAT) per course, this insurance provides a re-exam option at less than half the cost of a standard re-exam. If you have purchased Take2 and do not pass your exam, you will automatically receive an online re-exam voucher. Take2 lets you retake the exam anytime, anywhere, within six months of your initial exam. Please note that Take2 must be purchased during registration and cannot be added later.

Note: If you pass the exam on your first attempt, Take2 cannot be refunded or used for other exams.
